How SLABPAD works
SLABPAD runs on Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve (DBC) on Solana. We wrote no custom on-chain program: our part is one DBC config and this website.
How a launch works
One transaction creates the token and its curve. Supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 tokens, the mint authority is removed, and nothing is minted to the creator or to us. You can add a dev buy to the same transaction. It goes in before anyone else can trade and is clipped to what the curve can hold.
The token trades against SOL from its first block. The curve opens at about $5,000 market cap and fills at about $35,000. Those targets are converted to SOL at the SOL price when the config is created. After that the curve is priced in SOL, so its dollar value moves with SOL. Every buy moves the price up the curve and every sell moves it down.
A buy that would overshoot the curve is partly filled, and the rest of your SOL stays in your wallet. You never need to size a buy to the curve by hand.
Card indexes
Every launch picks a card index: sPKMN (Pokémon) or sOP (One Piece). An index is a fixed basket of real single cards, one copy each, and its value is the sum of their TCGplayer market prices, refreshed daily. The coin's page shows its market cap as a multiple of that basket, and the board can be filtered by index.
An index is a reference value, not a token. Coins trade against SOL; there is nothing to mint or redeem, and no coin gives a claim on any card. The baskets and their live prices are on the Indexes page.
Fees
| What | Rate | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Trade on the curve (buy or sell) | 2.5% | 2% to the treasury and 0.5% to Meteora as its protocol fee. Taken in SOL. The creator gets 0%. |
| Launch | set in the config | Paid once by the creator. 90% to the treasury, 10% to Meteora. The Launch page shows the amount. |
| Trade after migration | 2.5% | LP fee of the DAMM v2 pool. The treasury owns all of its locked liquidity, so the fee goes there too, minus Meteora's share. |
| Solana network | ~0.000005 SOL | Validators. Your first trade of a token also pays rent for your token account. |
All of these rates are fixed in the config when it is created, and a config cannot be edited. Changing a rate means publishing a new config. Tokens already launched keep the rules they started with.
Migration
When the SOL in the curve reaches its threshold, the curve closes. Its SOL and the reserved tokens become a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. That liquidity is locked permanently: no one can pull it, including the creator and us.
Meteora runs a migrator that picks up full curves automatically. If it is slow, anyone can trigger the migration from the token page. It is a public instruction and needs no permission.
How the board ranks
The default list ranks tokens by how many distinct wallets traded them in the last 24 hours. A wallet only counts once its buys and sells of that token add up to at least 0.05 SOL. That way a swarm of dust trades from fresh wallets cannot buy the top spot. Smaller trades still show in the trade list and in the volume.
The treasury and the slabs
A slab is a graded trading card sealed in its grader's case. The label carries the grade and a certificate number that you can look up. Tokenized slabs, for example from Collector Crypt, live on Solana as NFTs, so the treasury can buy and hold them without any bridge.
The treasury claims its fees from the pools, sells SOL for USDC when needed, and buys slabs. The Treasury page reads the slab wallet from Solana and shows our purchase log next to it. This is a policy we keep, not code: the program only guarantees where the fees are paid, not what they are spent on.
What you can check
The fee rate, the creator share, the launch fee, the curve and the migration settings are all fields of the config account. You can read that account yourself. Each token's pool points to its config.
Limits, plainly
- Memecoins are memecoins. Nobody stands behind their price, and most go to zero.
- Holding a token here gives you no claim on the treasury or on any card.
- The treasury is the project's own wallet. Spending it on slabs is a promise, checked by its public history.
- The curve and pool programs belong to Meteora. We rely on them working as documented.
- The board reads recent transactions straight from an RPC node, so a very busy day can undercount older trades.
- Token names, images and links are user content. We do not vet them.
